DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n \n\nDear teachers and assistants\, dear pupils and par
 ents\,\n\nOn Tuesday the 7th of June (before the World Ocean Day on the 8t
 h of June)\, the European School Brussels I Uccle - Berkendael (which has 
 the European Blue School label) will welcome Mr Thomas Lesage from the ass
 ociation Children for the Ocean. This 19-year-old Frenchman trains young p
 eople to protect the Ocean\n\nOn this occasion\, an online conference will
  be open to the entire community of the European Schools. Mr Thomas Lesage
  will speak in English for 45 minutes (a solution for automatic translatio
 n of online texts is envisaged for accessibility to all language sections 
 in our schools). This online event aims for a young citizen to speak to th
 e citizens of tomorrow\, our pupils. Families\, teachers and staff will al
 so be welcomed.\n\nFollowing Mr Lesage’s speech\, we’ll give the floor
  to pupils and teachers to share their initiatives on protecting the ocean
 s. Selected schools will have a few minutes to present an educational proj
 ect already carried out or planned. \n\nThe pedagogical team of this proj
 ect - Marine Grégoire and Mathieu Girot (with the help of François Jourd
 e from the Pedagogical Development Unit) - are at your disposal for questi

  cette conférence en anglais et français\, la parole sera donnée aux é
 lèves\, aux enseignants et à des parents du réseau des écoles europée
 nnes afin qu'ils présentent leur projet de sensibilisation à la protecti
