The Pedagogical Development Unit is pleased to invite you to a webinar on the key competences for lifelong learning with Dr Margherita Bacigalupo (Joint Research Center, European Commission). 

 

Dr Bacigalupo will invite us to understand the European Union key competences frameworks (DigComp, LifeComp, EntreComp, GreenComp) as constellations in the lifelong learning universe. These constellations allow us to identify and cluster competences in recognisable configurations. But constellations are not destinations, they are orienteering tools that help sailors find their way at sea. This metaphor helps us visualise key competences as consensual, yet arbitrary, collections, that can be unbundled and re-bundled to achieve different aims.
