What is this webinar about?

In this webinar the participants are introduced to the potential of technology in mitigating climate change. Teachers are provided with an overview of digital tools and resources that they can use in their classroom to unlock solutions to combat climate change.

Special emphasis is placed on teaching strategies for boosting student participation and engagement in activities related to climate change. Finally, the webinar offers practical examples of how to differentiate instruction and encourage students to organize initiatives for climate action.

Arjana BlazicArjana Blazic is a teacher trainer, instructional designer and eTwinning ambassador for Croatia. She is a recipient of the 2014-2015 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Award at Penn State University.  Arjana is a co-author of the Croatian National Curriculum for English Language Teaching and the Croatian National Curriculum for the Use of ICT as a Cross-Curricular Topic. She is an external expert at European Schoolnet, where she contributes to EU CodeWeek by developing teaching and learning resources and teacher training opportunities that aim at scaling up innovative use of digital technologies in schools. She serves on the Advisory Board for Driving K-12 Innovation and on the Steering Group for the Digital Education Hackathon, an EIT initiative under the European Commission’s Digital Education Action Plan.
