As a member of the educational staff (ES and AES), you are invited to a tailor-made online seminar, ' The House of European History: a place for learning’, hosted by Laurence Bragard, educator in charge of school program at the House of European History, on Wednesday 16.02.2022 from 5:00-6:30 pm (CET).

This interactive and participative webinar aims to reinforce the knowledge of teachers about the European integration in the context of their mission in the European Schools, and to discover the pedagogical offer available for you and your students in the 24 official languages of the EU at the House of European History (https://historia-europa.ep.eu/en/discover).

The House of European History, part of the European Parliament, presents transnational phenomena that have shaped our continent. By interpreting history from a European perspective, it connects and compares shared experiences and their diverse interpretations. It aims to initiate learning on transnational perspectives across Europe.

The webinar will bring light on the milestones in European Integration through exciting stories, unique objects and primary sources. It will also invite you to foster a more comprehensive understanding of today European Union; reflect on the origins of the EU project; the importance of compromises; the EU values and elections; the success, failures and challenges of the EU, and it will introduce you to the learning offer of the House of European History.
