This lecture brings together and juxtaposes the reflections of Martin Heidegger (focusing mainly on his writings on dwelling) and Emmanuel Levinas (specifically the part on dwelling developed in Totality and Infinity).
Short bio
Prof. Angelos Mouzakitis is Assistant Professor in Social Theory at the University of Crete in Greece and he also teaches as Associate Lecturer for the Hellenic Open University. He conducted his doctoral research at the University of Warwick, U.K., under the supervision of Professor Peter Wagner and spent 2003-2004 as Jean-Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
